With immense pride and pleasure, I have stood witness to the steady progress of Educare institute of dental sciences over the past 15 years, as it ascended in status to be one among the pre-eminent professional colleges in Kerala. The launch of Archives of dental sciences and research, a biannual, peer reviewed, open access e-journal, marks the next step in the right direction.
We are currently in a time and era where information can be made available at our fingertips. Data provided, barrier free; and at no additional cost is an integral part of research infrastructure, enabling researchers to access information efficiently and incorporate findings into their research more rapidly. Armed with the knowledge that well conducted, empirical research is vital to the success of global health endeavours, we venture forth.
I congratulate and applaud the sincere effort and perseverance of the whole team responsible for making of Archives of dental sciences and research a reality.
I hope the scientific community benefits from our humble undertaking and I thank everybody for their co-operation and expect the same in the future.
